Taiwan CSC Pre-announcement: Q3 2022 Wire Rod Price to Remain Flat

Given the inflation and reoccurrence of COVID spread across the world as well as the Russia-Ukraine war and supply chain challenges, Taiwan CSC lowers the steel price for July by an average of NTD 600-1,500 per ton in response to market status.

The steel price is set to remain flat in Q3, considering a relatively stable market and forecast on related industries, and in hopes of helping clients stabilize their prices, inventory, and competitiveness in securing new orders for Q3. The base price for July and Q3 is lowered by an average of 2.23%
